National Pimp "Wonderfalls" Day

lavellebelle and I have declared that today be National Pimp "Wonderfalls" Day on LJ, so yeah, I'm going to spam you all more about this show called Wonderfalls on FOX that premieres tonight at 9PM ET/ 8PM CT, as William Sadler (who is one of the brilliant stars) would say, "Be there or be square!". Seriously people it is a wonderfully written show and a cast that is just marvelous together. If you enjoy the witty smart and inventive TV that isn't going to kill your brain cells or make you throw things at the screen then this is the show for you.

Todd Holland, co-creator/producer/writer of Wonderfalls is brilliant, honest, he's won Emmy's. Bryan Fuller, the other co-creator is responsible for the creation of Dead Like Me and a ridiculous amount of Star Trek Voyager episodes (so tell all your Trekkie friends and make them watch too). Then there's Tim Minear (not to be mistaken with Tim Miner who worked on Buffy) who is as brilliant as they come (Angel, Firefly) and also kind of funny. Finally for all you music buffs out there there's Michael Andrews, Wonderfalls's musical composer. Now you may or may not recognize the name, but Mr. Andrews is responsible for the music of such masterpieces like Donnie Darko. Yeah Mr. Andrews wrote that song, "Mad World" hauntingly sung by Gary Jules. He also composed scores for shows like, Undeclared and Freaks and Geeks.

The cast is superb, yes there are a few Canadians in the mix, but don't let that stop you from enjoying the show. You'll love Caroline Dhavernas. You will also love the rest of the cast, but mostly you will love Caroline because she pulls off the best snark.
