*ETA - Access Hollywood just gave a few more tidbits. Colin's episode will air Jan 25th AND apparently Colin will be playing an "unruly Irishman". Hah!
I can actually see him doing comedy because well he's bit of a jackass in interviews... funny yes, but still assy. I see him doing comedy on like HBO, not on NBC.
I wonder how Colin & Zach hang? Would Colin be dragging Zach to a place like The Brass Rail? Would he make Zach sign a stall door? Hee!
OMG. I totally forgot about Mandy! Honestly would it be a good idea to put Colin in the vicinity of any Hollywood woman? Cause the Zach and Mandy and Colin! comedy might end up being some sort of porno instead of must see TV.

Colin's hosting SNL this week, so that'll be our first chance to see him do comedy (I'm racking my brain to think of any "Colin does comedy" moments in his movies and can't, unless you consider American Outlaws to be a comedy, albeit unintentional). I think he'll be pretty good, actually. He's a much better actor than his choice of recent material would indicate.

Yeah - I can't remember who the musical guest is. I saw it during the Luke Wilson SNL and remembered thinking it was a shame Colin and Luke Wilson couldn't switch out so Colin could host the show with U2. I guess we'll know when we see the show what kind of a sense of humor Colin has - during the 60 Minutes report on SNL (which they filmed during Jude Law's hosting week), I was surprised to see how much input the host has into the sketches that get on the show. Which means I have a sense of humor very similar to Jude and to Justin Timberlake. I don't know if that should bother me.
I think I need to make a Zach + Colin = BFF! icon to celebrate this news. The only thing that would be better is if Colin, Jude, Dom and Zach all guested on AD with Jason Bateman. Then I would probably spontaneously combust.
Oh god, now I have the intro to the Barry Gibbs talkshow in my head! I didn't get to see Jude's show, I heard it was funny and then I regretted not watching.
Hmmm, I wonder if Colin will somehow arrange an on-screen makeout session with Amy? *eg* and I wonder if Will will be on set that day? ;)
